Meet Dr. Mecka

Chiropractic Care With Purpose

Dr. Iperlitta "Dr. Mecka" Lolis is the owner and provider at 633 Chiropractic in Killeen, Texas.

Her path to chiropractic began with her own experience as a patient.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Mecka built a career in healthcare that included serving in the United States Army and working as a cytotechnologist.. During her years working in the operating room, she experienced persistent migraines.

After traditional approaches failed to provide the relief she was looking for, she was referred to a chiropractor. Within several weeks of receiving chiropractic care, she experienced a significant change in the headaches that had affected her for years.

That experience ultimately changed the direction of her career.

From Patient to Chiropractor

Dr. Mecka earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Cytotechnology from Old Dominion University and later earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.

She founded 633 Chiropractic with a simple belief:

Healthcare should educate, empower, encourage, and excite people about taking care of their bodies.

Today, she provides evidence-informed, patient-centered chiropractic care with an emphasis on gentle, low-force techniques.

Gentle Doesn't Mean Less Effective

Some patients avoid chiropractic care because they're uncomfortable with manual twisting, popping, or cracking.

That's one reason Dr. Mecka's primary approach uses Activator Methods®, a low-force, instrument-assisted chiropractic technique.

Dr. Mecka is Advanced Certified in Activator Methods and uses clinical examination findings to determine where and when an adjustment may be appropriate.

Her goal isn't to adjust as much as possible.

It's to provide the care that is appropriate for the individual patient.

Care for Every Stage of Life

Dr. Mecka has a particular interest in caring for women throughout different stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

She also enjoys caring for veterans, families, seniors, children, and patients who prefer a gentler approach to chiropractic care.

As an Army veteran herself, caring for members of the veteran community is especially meaningful to her.
